Funabori

Funabori Station lies on the Toei Shinjuku Subway Line in the district of Funabori in the Edogawa Ward of Tokyo.

Funabori is a middle class residential neighborhood of Edogawa in the eastern part of Tokyo. Some areas of Funabori have modern residential blocks, while in others traditional Japanese houses from the earlier days can still be seen.

Tower Hall Funabori

Tower Hall Funabori, or Edogawaku Sohgoh Kumin Hall, is the most prominent and well known building of Funabori. Located adjacent to Funabori Station, the building complex is an event holding facility consisting of the main event hall (for large-scale receptions and conferences, can accommodate 1,500 people); a large hall (for seminars and conferences, can accommodate 750 people); a small hall (for seminars and conference, has a mobile stage, and can accommodate 300 people); an exhibition hall; a wedding hall; a movie theater; and 17 other multi-purpose halls. The distinctive feature of Tower Hall Funabori is its 115 meter tall tower, after which it takes its name. The Tower has a restaurant and an observation deck that offers breathtaking views of Tokyo and Mt. Fuji.

The halls of Tower Hall Funabori can be rented at reasonable prices depending on the facility and the time of use.
