Hon-Komagome

Hon-Komagome Station is a subway station located in the Komagome area of Bunkyo Ward of Tokyo. It is served by the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line.

During the Edo period, Komagome was a village on the outskirts of Edo on the road to Kyoto. The area still retains much of the Edo charm, which is evident from the many small temples scattered throughout the area. Several of these temples with O-jizo-san statues in them are located in the area surrounding Hon-Komagome Station.
