Nishi Kasai

  

Nishi Kasai Station is located in the Kasai district of Edogawa Ward on the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line. It consists of two elevated side platforms and serves the mainly residential area of Kasai.

 

Ukita Park is situated 13 minutes from Nishi Kasai Station. It is a new park having opened in the year 2002. Ukita Park has large expanses of greenery and lots of trees. Besides the open spaces, the park has many sporting facilities. Athletics fields, baseball fields, and soccer fields are located in the park, besides picnic and camping areas. Ukita Park is also designed to serve as an evacuation facility for the residents of Kasai, as the area is prone to floods, earthquakes and resulting fires.
