Kamata

 

Kamata Station is located in the Kamata area of Ota Ward of Tokyo. It is an interchange station served by the East Japan Railway Company (JR East) Keihin-Tohoku Line and the Tokyu Corporation Tokyu Tamagawa and Ikegami Lines. The JR East station is on the surface with platforms in the north-south direction, and the Tokyu station is located on its southwest side.

 

Kamata is a relatively quiet neighborhood of Ota Ward. The headquarters of Toyoko Inn are located here.
